Bring back the old runes and masteries

Soooo, a lot of people are jumping ship from league of legends and at the same time, attracting some new players. Why is that? Because the new rune system. I'm not saying the new runes are terrible, but they kill the learning curve that once existed in the game. They killed the diversity in learning and customizing your champion to your playstyle. Now it's everyone is just playing follow the leader with what's in meta. I mean, I've been here since season 1. I've watched the game evolve into this mess that is just confusing at this point.
