Can someone please explain to me the deal with this ranking system previously bronze 5, went 8-2 prelims bronze 5 again i didnt even move up infact i went down....it makes me want to
away and set

Because the ranking from there is deteremined by league average(about silver 4-5) +10 game mmr average all divided by two then you have individual points from towers, cs, objectives, time, etc that will determine how far you go down.

Lolking, op.gg, lol-mmr and so on will help you understand where you are around but as for placements they cannot be 100% right.

RookPusher1 votesMy problem with them is that they don't allow for a climb. If we're all so confident that the regular ranked season puts you where you belong, then why the heavy suppression on placements?
When I first got to Ranked, I did well enough to get into Silver 4. That was fun. Since then I've been in low bronze for years. So what's the concern?
