Blaming supports for the loss

Just came from a game where two of my teammates reported me for sure. Why is it that the supports are always blamed? supports cannot take on the entire team and fight them while their team grabs kills, they SUPPORT the adc. so whats with the hate?

Because if it's not the jungler's fault, it's the support's. No one ever just loses their lane because they are bad, because they over-extend, because their map/game awareness is poor. It's always someone else.
