I need some help

Hello, at the moment of posting this, I am a Jhin main. After getting mastery 7, I began to notice different things about my gameplay. If I didn't get a kill, I felt useless as a damage dealer, even with decent CS. I'm always in a bad spot when the team fight begins, and sometimes, I'm not even there. My KDA looks more like a support or tanks, seemingly constantly. I've played since season 6, and I have no clue as to why I'm having these issues. Ive began to play top and jungle, as Nunu, Aatrox, and Ornn since they're all fun. And now my question to you guys, am I in the right role? Or is there something else going on?

The job of marksmans is to hit enemies in the safest position possibly. Their job is to provide consistent dps and stay safe while hitting the highest priority target they can without endangering themself. It's not their job to just "hurr durr kill everything"
