Flying over traps

When you use an ability that propels you into the air, does it really make sense that traps trigger if you are in air over them? For example: When Zac's flying through the air over Caitlyn's Yordle Snap Trap, why should he be caught by the trap? The same issue happens most frustratingly with abilities such as Tristana's Rocket Jump, and Aatrox's Dark Flight, in which the champion has very evidently taken flight over the terrain, but can apply to a wide range of spells still such as J4's Cataclysm, Mega Gnar's Crunch, and Pantheon's Aegis of Zeonia, as examples.

It is much more fun and intuitive to be able to avoid these traps by taking flight. And maybe I'm biased because I've been playing a copious amount of Zac lately but it seems like a completely logical change to me.

I find this to be pretty retarded as well. Like Pantheon can't jump over a Teemo shroom, Jinx trap... seems to me that is the point of it being a JUMP and not a DASH. But some how a wall is fair game but not clearly avoiding damage or getting to close a gap. I really get annoyed as Zac when I fly throw the air and get stunned some how, not root or bind, but stunned and it stops my flying. A stunned objest in flight would continue flight and land stunned. Or I launch but a Blitz knock up auto procs 12 mins late and knock me up and out of flying when clearly gone.
