Oh, I can ult every enemy on the map. "Broken". Oh, people are dying around me, better have less cooldown so I can clean up. "Broken". Their passives are revives. "Broken". Her passive stun mixed with her ult. "Broken and OP". People who complain about peoples abilities are probably my second most annoying type of troll, what is wrong with have diversity and different play styles into the game. Sorry I don't play Call of Duty and we all have the same FAMAS with the same red dot sight and we all do the same damage.

As annoying as she is, Annie does have a few counters. Champions with strong ranged waveclear Ahri Xerath can force the minion wave to her tower, causing annie to have to choose between letting go of her stun or miss out on CS with her relatively weak autoattack.

I'm confused, what exactly does it do for Annie mid? Building it early you lose damage(and possibly tankiness from RoA), building it late isn't that useful on her. And it no longer gives a minion aura

You use it against her. The promoted minion is immune to magic damage. And her AA's are crap. It also offers a good chunk of AP and some MR.

Late game, it helps to passively push lanes. Not that useful without a well coordinated team - but still good.

There are unique abilities that are really unhealthy for the game experience.

An ability shouldn't just exist because it's unique, it needs to add healthy gameplay.

I wouldn't categorise any of the abilities that you've listed as falling into this category, though.

That's hilarious. First, that's where a lot of his power budget is. Second, replace the average champ's passive with Volis. We get some terrors, but for the most part that would just break the kits.

Karthus is fine Katarina is terrible champion design. You'd think that by now Riot would realize that reset mechanics can never be balanced. Perhaps if she got resets just for kills it would be fine, but the fact that she gets the same resets for assists makes her complete cancer Annie having a stun, and also being able to 100-0 somebody during the duration of that stun, should not exist in league.

I agree with you on Annie, even though that usually only happens when the little girl is fed.

Reminds me of release RekSai , even without being fed, she would land her knockup and kill you before you hit the ground.

Legitimate claims about poor design are perfectly fine and dismissing them by saying that uniqueness supersedes game health is an abysmal prospect. They should coexist because they are not mutually exclusive. You can have a unique and healthy champion.

People considered Zac bottom of the barrel trash tier at the start of preseason because if he got killed his passive got countered by a single ~800 gold item and a 60 second cooldown summoner spell.

Never played CoD (I try to avoid that kind of recycled FPS Junk) But a FAMAS is still an awesome weapon in its own right.

P.S. I know somebody is going to try and make a pun about "shots fired" so I thought I might as well jump the gun on that (double self pun for the win!).

Resets are a broken mechanic on a heavy aoe character, it's far too punishing for the enemy and far too forgiving for the one using it. Remember when Master Yi had resets on his ult and he was able to be built in a way that made him do heavy aoe magic damage? Removed. Katarina? Nah she's fine.

Katarina has a long range blink that provides damage reduction, it's only slightly worse.

Surprise Amumu ult -> Leona ult -> Zyra ult -> Yasuo ult. Yas got a quadra. Zyra's plants finished off the tank. (Our Cait was off split pushing.)

Fastest and most 1-sided team fight ever.

Not to disagree. But if they have ranged hard CC (Hi Ahri), they can still disrupt Kat's ult. Amumu's ult only stops movement and AA's.

Here's the thing: they imagine what that ability would be like if it were added to their main, and ofc it's broken. Blitz seems broken AF if you imagine his Q added to some other champion, but what people don't get is that they have that skill because they don't also have whatever else some other champion has.

I had a Zed long time ago that was arguing to me that insta-tibbers was too OP, and that was really unfair that Zed had not an insta-stun too, if "that stun is not OP". I was like: "ok, the day they add two dashes to Annie I will agree with you."

Unique =/= Good

A sandwich made of asphalt and pigeons would be unique, but I wouldn't consider that a good sandwich.

A champion who couldn't take damage would be unique, but I wouldn't consider that a good champion.

People do complain a lot, but complaining about people complaining doesn't solve shit.
