After like 7-8 years of playing, something like 6-7 level 30 accounts... you finally did enough of a change to ensure I have zero interest in your game any more.

I have no idea what possessed you to sissify your game - dummying it down to a point I will refer to as "Blizzard-ifying" it...

Yeah: I'm the guy who prefers Path of Exile over Diablo3 and I strongly feel that Blizzard wrecked the D3 franchise by making it so simple - literally point and click with basically no user choices.

I think that this is a MAJOR step in that direction. What happens next is you buy ONE ITEM that encompasses the way YOU tell ME how to play each champ. Hell: just do away with choices all together.

This is garbage - and I'm completely out. I'll check in to see if you revert this and allow us to make decisions on skill trees and runes in future.

Thanks for all the fish - good luck - maybe in future stop hiring ex-Blizzard employees.

I actually think the new system offers far MORE depth and strategy than the old one. Let's be honest -- the old system was nearly 100% about tiny optimization of numbers. If that's your think, then sure -- the new one won't appeal.

The new one, however, is a lot more about strategic choice, how you want to play the character, and what you want to focus your strengths on. Taking just Master Yi, for example -- you can build heavily into burst, health sustain, movement speed, attack speed, or sticking power...and that's just the stuff that's immediately obvious.

Yeah I get that they want be noob friendly but now it feels more like boring options than anything

theres more choices now then there was prepatch... wat are u talking about lol. The old rune/mastiers was just a mess n a grind fest, also was annyoing to have to change two things jhust cuz u got auto filled 5 differnent times in ques n end up with the wrong runes n screw u in game.

this is alot easier to manage if u get autofilled in 4 different ques....one page vs 2 is better for me imo.

I get it i hate big changes too n iv been in a couple that turned out for the wrose.....exp SWG with its NGE and the marvels online with its rendition of the NGE both were bad changes n limited ur choice on how to build ur hero/char.

This one on the other hand did it the right way imo there are so many different choice that u can use for champs like someone else said on here

The new rune system has more bizarre choices than runes or masteries ever had before, if anything this is the polar opposite of what you claim.

It's shit - and they should be embarrassed for releasing it.

If you prefer PoE to D3, then I'm not surprised if you prefer the number-crunching micro-game that LoL's been forever. And that's fine, I'm sure a lot of people who really enjoyed that aspect aren't as happy with the new style.

But you know what I'm going to enjoy? Not spending 100k IP, or whatever fool number it was, to have a playset of every rune. If noob-friendly means giving players access to all the tools they need to keep pace, so that the only thing which can hold them back is decision-making and skill, and they can experiment without worrying that they'll have blown several thousand points on things that wind up not being useful, I'm all for that.

Please explain how you have less choice and agency then you did with the old system. The one that was nothing but numbers and a few minor effects.

Older runes or runes of last season didn't offer too much... It was either pick thunderlords or colossus majority of the time. Sometimes fever of battle... I don't get what's to hate about the runes? They compensated a few champs with stat boosts since the runes are removed. These current runes add more depth than what the older system lacked a lot of times: The power to make a difference on many champs compared to the small pool of major champs. If you are not willing to accept changes, then why face the changes in life? Everything's going to change sooner or later whether you like it or not. If you make things too complicated, you're losing people's interest. These runes have literally everything you need, sure they might need some reworking but it literally does fill in the share of both runes and masteries. For example: If you want it to be technical, might as well make Q a press Alt+Ctrl+Q with a really long ability description of what you have to do in order to get this ability to work. Like open the LoL Client files, click on this folder, that folder, then drag this Q ability out of this folder, then put it into this one. Press Ctrl+Alt+Q to activate the skill but, the skill is 200 units long only and is a thin line skill shot that does hardly any damage. Toss the ability back into the folder again for the cd timer to start. Then start openning C# or any programming nodes and files so that you can upgrade the abilities when you level up. <=== Idk if you rather have simplicity at the touch of a button or something that goes too far into depth. Sometimes the simplest things is what makes many things better, try out the system first. Don't be bias about it and if you find more cons than pros then you can come back and state why this is problematic. At least things are less point and click in LoL than they used to be.
