What's with Riot choosing to give popular champions, such as Ahri or Fizz, reasonable compensations for the removal of DFG while Veigar lays untouched and depended on it most of all? It seems like they've really lost sight of caring about older champions and only keep fan favorites in the mix.

DFG was often overkill for him.
If he needs buffs. I'd say make his early game a little easier to farm. Like his Q's cd getting a reduction if he kills a unit with it; Like Annie's Q.
Probably all he'd need. As this would mean more AP late game to make up the DFG loss as well as make him stronger at all points of the game. Not just when he has DFG.

If anything Veigar would of had the nerf bat swinging for him next if DFG hadn't been removed. Too many people abusing a broken item on a champ that already nukes.
He deserves an actual nerf. DFG affected more than just Veigar, so stop pretending like he's the only one who suffered from the item being removed. When Morello finally gets his hands on Veigar, I hope he guts him.
