The thornmail has not been touched in seasons. It's stats remain the same, with its incredible amount of armor and it's 30% recoil. Every armor item has had some sort of nerf.

The balances to this item generally lies around lifesteal item or abilities.

Throughout the season, i don't know if anyone has noticed, but thornmail has become increasingly effective towards killing champions that depend on on-hit effects or basic attacks. It would be nice if the thornmail got some recoil reduction to reflect the changes on lifesteal abilities and items.

thornmail being op is not the solution to this long cherished and outstanding problem.

what they should do to it is change the passive to applie grievous wounds and not damage the player directly

Thornmail is the ONLY reason ADCs aren't the most OP champs in the game. You can nerf thornmail once you remove lifesteal.
