Bring back Dominion

Either this or something other than some crappy all-random mode. SR is restrictive enough when it comes to actually having fun, and a large part of that fun is having the freedom to choose a champion without worrying about roles.

I'm likely one of the few players that got into Dominion and 3v3 before SR, so having nothing but SR and ARAM feels like a massive downgrade. I really want to enjoy this game, but Riot isn't really giving me much to work with right now.

I still stick around in hopes that Riot will one day realize that more maps & modes variety is a good thing. This game could be so much better, and bringing back the other modes would be a good start toward improving it.

I just want the map in custom games

It was removed for the same reason Twisted Treeline was removed.

Bot accounts.

Most people didn't actively play either mode. Anyone who actually entered a match found themselves matched with and against bots.

Despite removing the modes, bot accounts still exist and infest Coop mode nowadays.

Riot seems wholly incapable of implementing anti bot measures other than relying on players identifying and reporting them. But bot accounts are worthless, used merely to get accounts leveled up quickly without actively spending hours on the game doing it. No matter how many bots are identified and removed from the game, many more crop up, likely made by the same players whose bot accounts were permanently banned.

All that matters to them is getting at least one up to a high enough level to be used in ranked play or to be sold on third party web sites.

If Riot could develop an effective measure against bot accounts then maybe we could go back to enjoying alternative permanent maps. Sadly, even if they managed that much, the game modes would likely see little if any play whatsoever. Only a minority of players want to see those modes returned. So it will likely not happen.

A shame really as TT is actually enjoyable when there are real people playing it. And it is the original map of the game that dates back to Beta.
