Where does Shaco fall in this season's Jungle?

So is probably my favorite champion and has consistently been since I started playing League. I also love playing in the jungle, but lately with this new tank jungle meta it's hard to fit assassins in the mix. I've read up on a couple other threads that brought up the jungle and assassins in this current season, but I just wanted to know where my buddy fits in all this.

In previous seasons I would be able to carry along with my and not have to worry about any sort of enemy jungler or even the camps themselves stomping me early in the game. I also feel because of this new jungle I can't hit my ganking milestones either any more. Like by the time I gank at lvl 3 mid lane is already 5 or so. Now I'm not going to go in a game knowing that I'm not going to win with my champ, so I pick other junglers like or . But I'd really like to know how is being played now.

Some people do AP Shaco top. Some play him assassin from the jungle. Others build just hydra/warrior enchant into full tank. He's in a really good spot as far as balance and options go.

I personally always pay shaco as an AP jungler, because I love that playstyle. As it sits, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you're playing ranked games, I would stay away from Shaco unless you are doing AD and the enemy team doesn't have more than 1 tank (off-tanks don't count). If you're doing normals just have fun with it!

He's early game is retardedly good now in the new jungle. The camps hurt so much you can just Q into their jungle and kill the enemy jungler a lot easier. With the pink wards no longer invisible it's pretty easy to gank. Basically the new changes in the game have been stealth buffing him but his massive lack of stats is what's keeping him down

I really like playing with good shaco players in the jungle because they can create so much map preasure. In soloq someone is always overextedng without wards and this is where shaco excellels.
