Varus Q fires instantly
Varus Q is not allowing me to charge it. It instantly fires when I attempt to hold down Q. I was told it may be a problem with gaming keyboards but if anyone has experienced this can you please help me out...

Stars Shaper1 votesCheck auto/smartcast options. I had a similar issue a long ago and it was connected to them somehow.
AlienPrimate1 votesYou have to take quick cast off for charging abilities like Varus, Vi, and Galio.
Shuyin1781 votesNo you don't. I use quick cast and they work just fine.
AlienPrimate1 votesI've never played Varus so I'm not sure about him, but Vi's dash and Galio's taunt just instantly activate without charging if you use quick cast so I assumed Varus's Q was the same.
Edit: I just tested Galio in practice mode. I didn't realize you could hold down charging abilities.
