Staying too long after drag or taking a inhibtor.

Cycle Time: This is the word I like to use for the very odd phenomenon that I see happen from bronze to platinum and sometimes even diamond players. To better explain it is when your team for example might setup to contest the first drag, you are able to pick off a champion or two take a little bit of harass but walk away with no one killed and a drag. Then what seems so strange is the team will then chase down the enemy into their jungle not realizing that the two players they picked off over a minute ago are already re-spawned full health and probably didn’t have time to waste their ultimate’s while also having had the chance to buy. The enemy then turns on your team who probably has an ult or two down from the pick and maybe a few half HP players from pokes and tanking dragon. This then turns into a then enemy team taking out 2 or probably more of your teammates then proceed usually to take a turret or two.

This same thing can be seen with teammates who again get a pick and start to push mid, there teammates are telling them that the enemy has re-spawned and that they should not go for that second inhibitor or to leave the one that is exposed. This usually leads to those teammates who refuse to listen dying and a larger objective being taken like baron or drag by the enemy.

There are many other scenarios but I hope you get the point, too many times have I seen a team lose because of this issue, and many times have I won games that I should not have because of this.

Now you guys can probably tell me if there is a word for this but I dont see it commented on that much in team play, yes I hear people yell and point it out to their teammates "Hey man we told you not to go in" but I feel there is no quick word in the community that you can just use to explain all of this to each other.

Instead of yelling at one or two teammates just call out "cycle time is up" then everyone understands hey we need to GTFO before we throw this game.

This is one of my giant pet peeves. The worst is when they take inhib tower and inhib and then just chill by the inhib, then their team spawns with homeguards and whipes you out

Overstaying Cycle time Respawns window closed the concept certainly isn't new, although I agree there is a bit of a lexical gap there. Need a good term that everyone will recognize.

I am loving all the great feedback, please do not take my two examples so strictly this as others have pointed out I am sure you can all think of many different situation where this happen, the homeguards is the perfect example.

Overstaying is another great word for this concept, keep the ideas and situations flowing guys!

We gotta make it common practice that everyone we know understands "Cycle Time" or "Overstaying" or "Greed" means GTFO.

You are rigth Anivia is a great champion to help your team when put themselves in that situation!

That is the definition of SoloQueue. Unless they obey all your commands, then you'll be golden item 3069. Otherwise, you will deal with trying to contest drag 3 or 4v5. Or they simply end.
