I played one game of ranked in the 2019 season. I lost, and Riot demoted me to Bronze II, I was Silver II. So all that hours of playing ranked win/lose just to get to Silver II was nothing??? C'mon Riot. I don't think that's fair.
Uh...you need to play 10 to get your rank in a role. You haven't finished placements if you've only played one game. If you read the rules when you signed on, they put in a "provisional" rank after your first game, which means that rank is the LOWEST you can get in that role.
So Bronze II is the lowest you can get in whatever role you played, but your rank is not SET yet. Keep playing bud.
It's called a ranked reset for a reason. It's to make sure you're actually capable of maintaining that rank.
The first game puts you at your lowest possible rank, but you gain massive amounts of LP per win. You'll gain like 50-60 next game.
Same for everyone. But you should gain like 50 or more LP per win. I got 71 after my first win.
