League of Legends PBE Server Maintenance broke my client.

I was starting a game of URF and there was a randomly decided server maintenance which took the server down. Now 4 hours later every time I try to login, it makes me reconnect to the game that was started 4 hours ago.... What do I need to do to get rid of this other then waiting for hours for this to be fixed. This isn't best practices with server management, as you probably already know. There should be notice.... maybe add a 30 minute buffer before the "scheduled" maintenance brings down the server that makes sure NO ONE CAN START A GAME? This also happened a week or so ago, also WITHOUT notice, again I was in the middle of a game.
