i was originally silver 1, season 6 starts and i win 9 games and lose 1 and im in bronze 1......... how?

I was Gold V at season end, went 9-1 in Provisionals and ended up Silver 3. So it appears that Riot (in its infinate wisdom - or is that stupidity) take your ending position and subtract 3 divisions. I feel I should have landed in Plat since my provisionals were playing against Plat, and in some cases, Diamond players.

I don't know guys. I'd Love to be placed 2-3 ranks below my Elo. It's just sooo much fun Earning 30+ IP for a win and destroying lanes until my Rank :D

I can see the frustration though, but don't lose hope. The new system will literally carry you into Gold. It rewards you with free promo wins.

Did you not participate in last season's rank resets? It happens to all players and they all manage to climb back to where they were quite quickly except those who had an MMR that didn't belong in that league.
