If you get three Champion shards for a Champion you already own, will it give you a skin for that Champion? Or is there nothing to do with them? Should I just turn all of mine into Essence?
FOR JUSTICE3 votesgetting 3 champion shards does nothing. i think what your thinking of is getting 3 skin shards, you can reroll those yeah. but other then maybe a discount for buying the champion or using it for mastery levels, they serve no purpose other then disenchanting.
Kai Guy2 votesI think you can also use them for champion mastery. But... well BE does that as well and I have never sat down and don't cost analysis on If you save BE from using a shard or just pure BE.
Saezio3 votesYou save tons, especially for low BE champions. You need like 3k to upgrade while the shard gives like 100 xD
Doesn't matter at all if you own all champs tho cause BE keeps adding up and adding up and just feels pointless.

Kattzy1 votesMe too! And while I am of course so happy we get a bunch of stuff for free, it would be cool if the BE emporium had a few more items available or at least was open more often.
I will say though, having so many champ shards makes me think about widening my champ pool so I can use them for mastery.

ChaosReyn1 votesIf you get those, you can reroll them into a champion you don't own, you can turn them into essence, you can use them to upgrade mastery, or you can let them all just sit there until Riot does something with them. xD
Tahminatrix 1 votesRiot used to allow rolling 3 champion shards into a random champion permanent that you don't already own but they discontinued that when ip was replaced by blue essence as the main currency.
