Influence points

I want to talk about the recent change of influence points to blue essence and bare with me, im very bad at grammar and everything else.

I have noticed some players like the change but more accurately do not mind the change but I for one who also speak for tons of players in league of legends found the change POINTLESS and MIND boggling. I remember reading a Q and A before the update regarding the change, they wanted the new currency system so that new players can get champs easier and quicker by obtaining capsule which they could get champion shards which they could buy with blue essence.

the problem with this is that it doesnt make obtaining any champion easier especially for higher level player. theres still a currency which you have to buy the champion much like Influence points but its even harder to obtain because you have to level up to get the essence which you get from exchanging the champion shards, so you get alot less blue essence compared to how much ip you would get from winning a game. there was no price change on any champions either, I could understand the lack of blue essence from leveling up if the champions were cheaper but thats not the case. Myself, personally could make about 1500 - 2000 ip a day which could get me champions rather quickly compared to making 700-900 blue essence a day (if im lucky) which could get me another champion rather slowly.

dont get me wrong, I loved the idea of blue essence, specifically when influence points existed. blue essence was that extra pocket change for new champions that I would get from chest, blue essence was also useful for getting my lovely and flashy mastery 6-7, which is the only thing that got a price change in the new system BUT it DID NOT DECREASE, rather it INCREASED.

theres no benefit from the new currency system. I get it if riot made a mistake, and didnt realize this. I felt like no one had an issue with it in pbe because it was much different before the live servers. I dont mean to attack the people who came up with this idea, but its kind of a con.
