Fiddlesticks Spell Interactions
I mean this as an intentional way to gate Fiddles' skill:
Personally, I feel Fiddlesticks was nerfed when the change to Terrorized Opponents was implemented. Instead of running randomly, they run away from Fiddlesticks.
Fiddles needs them to remain close for his drain.
I think it might be useful to consider this idea: When an opponent is feared AND drained simultaneously, they run towards Fiddlesticks.
If that's not skillful enough, perhaps landing Dark Wind, Terrify, and Drain all together are what might cause this change in crowd control.
If that's not skillful enough, perhaps only when afflicted by Crowstorm and Drain, or Crowstorm and Fear.
Basically, some kind of interaction in Fiddles' spells that would require the player to cast something specific to get a powerful combination.
I think in any form of achieving this result is thematically appropriate: The hero is being terrified but drawn in by Fiddlesticks' ominous power as they become more impacted by his abilities.
There was little compensation for this change to his crowd control, was there not? And by making it specific: push or pull your opponent with Terrify, modified by another spell, you get more specific strategy from Fiddles, who can fear to run away or fear and drain to attack.
Is this too strong a combination? Please let me know if I am entirely offbase. :0)
