If you aren't aware already Ryze is receiving ANOTHER change. Case and point this change is the most brain dead one they've made to Ryze. He's in a good spot and doesn't need a change, "oh but he's not easy to play he's too hard" GOOD! HE SHOULD BE HARD TO PLAY! I love playing Ryze because he's difficult, it's called fun. Know what's not fun Riot? YOUR GAME. Explain why the hell Ryze would NEED to have an ally near him to ult? Why the fuck do you think that's a good idea? Why get rid of the Rune Charges for his shield? Why make his E spread the second you cast it? This shit is stupid do not go through with this change.

Ryze's gimmick is to cast a fuck ton of spells and do a shit ton of damage to players not paying attention to him. Making him more noob friendly is counter intuitive. Riot, we know your stupid, but not this fucking stupid.

For the rest of the world, he's still an obnoxious champion regardless of his strength.

The only change ryze needed was a nerf on his shield which a experience ryze was able to spam. As I understand, this is another (smaller) ryze rework.
