I am sure this shows up all the time, but I have experienced many 20+ minute queues over the last few days in a silver 1 queue. It kills me that, at such a mediocre level of play, it is still impossible to find games.
Even worse, why is my estimated queue time always 1/10th the actual queue time. Why bother to estimate it at all...it is a game crushing experience.

On a side note, this is kinda cool; there's a bunch of people going to war with Blizzard over legacy servers and a bunch of people going to war with Riot over solo queue at the same time. I like it.

Tyaldan1 votesYeah i agree. Ive stopped playing ranked this season. Partly because it feels like matchmaking itself is completely broken, partly because im tired of being stuck with trolls. If you play your best i dont mind if you arent that great. When i lose a game because our jhin decided to go ap (?????) it just feels damn bad. And matchmaking itself feels broken. Im to the point in normals where it feels like im consistently at the top of my game, and im paired with people who just arent. I hate feeling like im doing super shitty on cs, looking at the scoreboard, and seeing im actually on top cs for the team, and its just even worse in ranked because of the premades. I didnt do well in ranked last season because well i just wasnt that good at the game, but now that i am it feels like ranked doesnt exist, because its not about you doing your best to help the team, its about you not getting a premade troll group.

Keevalroy1 votesDidn't have enough time to get to gold in season 3, but I mostly just got gold, sat on it for the guaranteed Victorious skin, made a half assed attempted to climb by playing maybe 1 or 2 games every 2-5 weeks or so, and when I won one lost one; "meh," and went back to Team builder.
I just want the skin mostly.

For a system that needs solo players like a car need fuel, it sure is a miserable experience playing solo. So people quitting and changing their habits is a natural response.
Xonra1 votesMy last ranked game was 19 days ago, so while I can't speak for anyone else, I've just outright stopped. I played a few games of Poro king and found it utterly boring, and did enjoy Ascension some, but Ranked has gotten a big middle finger from me.
I actually WANT to play, but I don't want premades thrust on me anymore, so my only option is to stop playing until Riot stops being stubborn.
However long it takes shrugs I've got other games to play and other games to spend money on.

Steven Mcburn1 votesLast time I tried to play my first match took 4 minutes to find in silver III, my 4 man premade went straight off-meta picks (which is ok) but bot was 1-10 in the first 10 minutes, so I lost. They also forced me out of my role AFTER i picked, letting me know we were going to open mid and have 3 bot; they refused to trade for draven and so I was stuck as draven mid.
My next game, not really caring anymore because apparently the role I pick is meaningless, I queued up fill in silver IV (yay demotionz) almost immediately after. Even on fill it took 13 minutes to find a game, only to do the most dmg to champs in the game and lose by a mile with 0 followup from my team, instead opting to go in 1 by 1 by 1 after I initiated and chunked the enemy team.
I don't think I've played since then. Can't imagine a world where that's a fun gaming experience. Wait 17 minutes in queues to play games where 50% was trolled and 50% was my team being vastly outskilled.
That's just life though. I'll be back when they fix this fiasco, if they don't I don't really mind I played enough in s4 to get my rewards and stopped playing about a month into the season, I came back at the end of s5 to just have quick games after watching some streamers play and making it look fun. It's definitely not fun anymore so there is just no point in pretending it is.

Maybe it's because the league they put me in is all full of players who recently finished their promos, but every time I que up I get a game in a minute or two. (In case people are wondering, I go Support and ADC :P)

Xonra1 votesWhile I won't say "the roof is on fire" I will say that it should be telling that this happens in Silver.
Silver still currently has the highest population of ranked players (at least in NA, can't say otherwise). When even SILVER has anything above 2 minute Queue times, it should flash some big red light.
When the rank that has the largest percentage of players (as far as ranked goes), and anyone at any point somehow has up to even a 5 minute queue (regardless of role), then something is wrong.
