Bans in URF

So over the past few days of playing ARURF on the PBE I can say with confidence it's the least amount of fun I've had playing League in months. Every game consists of the same champs: Yi, Kai'sa, Vlad, Rumble, and Blitz. There seems to be no variety because of the fact that we can't pick our own champs. Wouldn't it be just as easy as putting bans in like they did for ARAM for a short time, or at least letting us choose who we want to play? I'm not trying to sound like like a beta, but when a "crowd favorite" game mode comes back into the rotation and it gets less and less fun every time you'd think RIOT would actually give the casual players something to make it seem like they want us to have fun

They did an ask Riot on this before, which basically resorted to

"Everyone complained about the same champs on the first 2 URFs that we had ZERO insight to maybe stop people from being godmode and being LITERALLY unkillable so we're gonna fuck the entire game mode up so nobody complains..ohwait you're still complaining that you can't pick champs and getting X champ into Y makes you have to basically afk until the games over, wellp we tried"

All we wanted was for heals/shields to be nerfed (Champs like Sona/Karma in the first 2 URFs were quite literally unkillable. 500+ HP shields that stacked every 2 seconds as well as massive MS buffs on them made them godmode and Maokai was pretty much an immortal nuclear weapon with his saplings and passive

After they FINALLY did that we just asked for bans and it would be fine then they made it random and refused to do it. Let's not even mention that garbage snowdown one where only champs with snowday skins were able to be given.

Recently they did an Ask Riot about Gamemodes in general with translated to "Play TFT and stfu about URF/Nexus Blitz" so yea
