So I ended last season in silver 3 winning 7 out of 10 games. I just recently played my placement games for this season and went 10-0 with a fairly good stat line every game and got placed back in silver 3.....whats the deal with that?!
Eric Senpai1 votesThere was a soft reset, getting the same rank as last season is a good thing (an accomplishment). If you want to rank up you have to grind like everyone else. Technically, you gave yourself a head start.
Tsugaga1 votesIt's a combination of your MMR last season and a soft reset at the start of this season. You were placed back in silver 3 but your MMR is likely silver 2 or silver 1. You will probably get 20+ LP per win.
