The nerf was a tad too strong. After playing many rounds of the new nid, her javelin needs a minor up. The width often misses flying through champs, compared to skillshots like Morg's or any of EZ's it gets very frustrating. As a main stay for her combo, it really needs to be buffed a tad bit. Leave damage where it is at. Even though it's significantly less even in kitty form.
Most people would probably tell you landing the spear consistently is what separates a good nidalee from an okay one. you also have traps to trigger the Hunted passive. Also I think there's still a lot of stigmata attached to that particular ability. She already deals a crazy amount of damage when she DOES land one. A good Nidalee can take you apart five times over if you're not careful. Wanting that to be EASIER is probably only going to attract the ire of the people who have to play against her.
