Miss Fortune is an example of how to design a simple champion with counterplay
She has no skillshots or mobility or % health damage or true damage but she's got tons of reliance on positioning, brings damage with counterplay and is overall one of the healthiest adc designs we've seen. Her ultimate now does massive, massive damage but is extremely easy to counterplay and you don't feel cheated when you die to it. She has to channel in place for 2.5 seconds but gets massively rewarded for it IF she's skilled. Her Q is point and click but has a ton of counterplay based on positioning and when you play with and against her you really learn how much positioning can change the game for you. Nothing about being hit by her Q feels unavoidable or cheap, but when you get that crit in lane for 150 damage at level 3 you really feel the impact of the spell and the reward of being careful to set it up. If you ever decide to make simpler kits in the future, make it like MF; counterplayable but doesn't require a PhD to use.
