Few suggestions for Riot Games

Hello everyone. Lately I have been thinking about various things. I have few suggestions for Riot Games.

  1. Play your game, try to actually notice streamers and community. I haven't played much during the year because of school being pretty annoying, but I still noticed (solely from Synapse actually) that Riot Games does not nerf champions that are beyond broken for several patches, complained about by pros and non-pros etc. This brings me to point 2
  2. I have a nice idea about establishing something I would call "balance team". I know it sounds crazy, but this department of Riot Games could actually try to balance the game around skill required for a champion, counterplay available from other champions and meta. It might be a little costy to hire some people to work on it, but I sincerely think it might work. Other games already have functioning balance teams and they seem to work just fine, with some little missteps happening sometimes, we are all human, but it has noticeably more impact on game than Riot Games current balancing (not sure how it works right now to be honest). Hire some people who can play the game at high level without abusing non-skillshots champions or stupid stuff that does not rely on solo skill. I know macro play is a huge thing in League, but at the same time it feels a bit wrong for champions who are very easy (and there is literally no difference on whether challenger or silver plays it mechanic-wise) to beat intense champions who require tons of practice so easily. I understand practicing one difficult champion should not make you win all matchups, but losing vs easy champions should happen only because of your own missplays. "Easier the champion, easier the counterplay" would be great way to do things imo. Just throwing out some ideas here, I know it's crazy idea but I do sincerely think Riot Games should have functioning balance team!
  3. Make TFT playable while playing sumonner's rift. If someone picks Tahm Kench top vs you and therefore denies you ability to actually play the game, make it possible to just play TFT until your team can surrender. It will prevent people leaving games or getting banned just because one sadist decided to abuse champions which current Rioters use to climb so they can be same silver rank their 5 year old children got with mages.
  4. Make gaining keys a bit more logical. Every time I login on my alt account I get one, and I could literally just keep loging in and have same amount of keys on both account I actively use and one I do not. I have over 20 chests because I actually get S on multiple champions very frequently, as I don't abuse one OP champ (or I try not to) neither am I bad enough to never get S, so getting keys purely out of waiting seems a bit lackluster.
  5. Fix the loot interface, who even thought of having to spend points on blue essence one by one, then having to open blue essence too (one by one if i'm not mistaken but not sure about this one). It is just very annoying, to the point I would rather face old Zoe (who Riot Games failed to nerf in 5 consequent patches if you guys remember, I remember cus all analysts have been pretty vocal about their incompetence) in lane than ever get that experience again.

Thank you for your time, I hope those ideas can help game we all love and care about to grow. Perhaps others can help in similar fashion.

I remember time our lead guy who balanced game was silver and got gold by abusing kayle in 3v3s, and everyone was memeing and joking about him being only silver but I sincerely believe that was when game balance had much more sense than it does now.

"I don't understand what is balance team doing" doesn't necessarily mean that they are doing something bad :)

Riot games be like when reading this : 1-Skip 2-Skip 3-TL;DR 4-Meh, we have no time 5-skip

3 would never be implemented. Why would Riot implement a way to disengage from an active game?

You get keys from consistent play that isn’t negative, and it is consistent with the number of chests you can obtain on a weekly basis. That ratio changes when you’re not playing as often.

Riot balancing team and that group of devs who work with skill shot, damages, items is pretty decent, tbh. Ive played a lot of MOBAS and MMO's and the balance is god awful and not touched for months. The thing is, things just start fast when it comes to League. The new champs have been a bit busted, but in all, it's new champs and they are waiting to see what changes need to be made(which is why it takes them a few weeks). Game development is super tough, so I give them props for that and every patch they're trying to balance stuff, just they have certain metas they like to push which would kind of "fail" a balanced team. Just like, I believe two seasons ago, it was the all tank meta which was no way balanced, but Riot was pushing that meta out there so it gives you different things to accommodate. Yeah, it's lame when people abuse super OP champs, but then they eventually get nerfed. So it eventually tones down, just not immediately. Everything in a game is a work in progress, which is always how I see it. Nothing will be perfect and if it was, it wouldn't be fun.
