Galio didn't need an update. Not all champs need to be popular. =(

I'm devastated =( Galio was an interesting champion!!! He had a unique look and tricky, variable gameplay. Now he's gonna be a cliche................................. He's gonna look like an extra cartoonish superman knock-off with chrismas-wings... His gameplay was intelligent and amazing! You could covertly control party movement with his directional walking speed buff, make plays with his ult and shield - built him as a tank or as a mage or both. What is he now? Some weak mashup of Voli and Pantheon. And did we really need "warp around the ma"-ult number 5? Twisted and Tham and Pantheon and Talia...

Do really all Champions have to ponder to the most stereotypical, lowest common denominator??? Galio wasn't for everybody, but he was great.
