[Help!]I can't jungle with amumu all of the sudden

Oh, everything hurts... I can't go through the jungle without getting my ass kicked, I've tried all kinds of runes and masteries and yet I can't go threw a side of my jungle with decent health to finish the other half and I end up under leveled because I'm extremely slow item 3070 Amumu

Why the heck are you taking Runic Echoes instead of Cinderhulk?

Your runes and masteries appear to be fine for the most part. Though, I'd recommend you use Runic Armor over Veteran's Scars so that Hunter's Talisman and potions will heal more.

You appear to rush Hunter's Potion. This is good for health and mana sustain thoughout the game.

Personally, there are two main issues which stand out to me.

[1] Item Build

Cinderhulk > Runic Echoes

Amumu wants to survive in the middle of a fight for as long as possible. Cinderhulk provides quantities which suit this purpose:

  • Early durability ( diving towers, surviving invades and skirmishing)
  • Consistent PBAOE damage (clearing, synergy with W)

While Runic Echoes is useful (added mobility, burst damage, mana sustain), it leaves you far too squishy in the mid-game for my comfort.

Also, I'd recommend taking Ninja Tabi at every available opportunity. Not only is armor useful early-game (for clearing, dueling and tower-diving), but it can make Amumu deceptively durable when combined with his E's passive (which applies AFTER damage mitigation).

[2] Ability Order

Taking a quick look, you appear to star with E at level 1. While this is useful if you happen to start on Raptors, W is far more useful against buff camps (due to their higher health and slow autoattacks).

Personally, I'd recommend you try maxing W first for a couple games rather than E. I find that it is far more efficient for clearing the jungle camps and taking objectives (though you sacrifice a little burst damage and durability).

Cinderhulk + W-max lets you clear the jungle rather quickly and without mana issues.

  1. Also in the same boat for taking cinderhulk over runic echoes by far. Most of your damage is going to come from AoE and your AP scaling isnt the best.
  2. Start W rather than E since your first camp is a buff camp that has a single minion hitting you = slow E resets, and buff minion has a large HP pool which the % damage from W will melt.
  3. Only damage item you need is item 3151 which is all the stats you ever want, HP, pen, AP and more % damage. You have a ton of CC too which applies the item's double burn. With aoes of W, E, R, cinderhulk and liandries burn you'll do plenty of damage to everyone, even tanks.
  4. Magic pen reds over attack speed. You get more damage out of your AoE abilities rather than wimpy autos and the pen will let cinderhulk do more as well.
