Taliyah Buffs (But not numbers)

Hello everyone, I have recently picked up Taliyah, The Stoneweaver. Ever since her release she just sorta disappeared. Which is slightly disappointing considering her amazing and unique kit. For those who do not know who she is or what she does I will tell

PASSIVE

"Rock Surfing"

INNATE: Taliyah gains up to 20 - 40 (based on level)% bonus movement speed by moving near terrain or structures, which builds up over 1 second and decays over 1 second upon moving out of range.

Entering combat disables Rock Surfing and places it on a 5 second cooldown. This cooldown is continuously refreshed while Taliyah remains in-combat.

HER Q/FIRST ABILITY

"Threaded Volley"

RANGE: 1000

MANA COST: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70

COOLDOWN: 9 / 7.5 / 6 / 4.5 / 3

ACTIVE: Taliyah unleashes 5 Stone Shards in quick succession in the target direction over 1.5 seconds, dealing magic damage in a small area X units radius wide around the first target hit. Targets hit by a Stone Shard take 40% damage from subsequent shards.

Casting Threaded Volley creates an area of Worked Ground ? units radius wide around Taliyah that lasts 120 - 66 (based on cooldown reduction) seconds. While on Worked Ground, Taliyah gains 10% - 20% (based on level) bonus movement speed, and only hurls one Stone Shard upon casting Threaded Volley, refunding half its mana cost.

** MINIMUM MAGIC DAMAGE**: 70 / 95 / 120 / 145 / 170 (+ 45% AP)


HER W/SECOND ABILITY

"Seismic Shove"

RANGE: 900

MANA COST: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110

COOLDOWN: 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12

ACTIVE: Taliyah marks the target location and selects a direction. After 1 second, the ground erupts, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit and Airborne icon knocking them X units in the chosen direction for 1 second.

DAMAGE: 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 (+ 40% AP)


HER 3/THIRD ABILITY

"Unraveled Earth"

RANGE: 800

MANA COST: 90 / 95 / 100 / 105 / 110

COOLDOWN: 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 / 8

ACTIVE: Taliyah scatters 18 boulders over the ground in a cone before her, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit.

TOTAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 140 / 180 / 220 / 260 / 300 (+ 80% AP)

The boulders then remain for 4 seconds, Slow icon slowing all enemies within the area by 20% (+ 4% per 100 AP). At the end of their duration, all remaining boulders explode, dealing Unraveled Earth's initial damage once more.

Enemies who dash over or are Airborne icon knocked through Unraveled Earth's boulders cause them to detonate instantly, each dealing them 50% of Unraveled Earth's initial damage and dealing 15% less damage per boulder hit down to a minimum of 55% damage, up to a maximum of 4 boulders per enemy.

MAXIMUM TRIGGER DAMAGE: 108.5 / 139.5 / 170.5 / 201.5 / 232.5 (+ 62% AP)


HER R/ULTIMATE ABILITY

"Weaver's Wall"

RANGE: 3000 / 4500 / 6000

MANA COST: 100

COOL DOWN: 180 / 150 / 120

ACTIVE: Taliyah channels for 1 second before summoning a massive wall of spiraling rock that tears through the battlefield in the target direction, creating impassable terrain for a few seconds and Airborne icon knocking aside allied and enemy champions it passes through as it emerges.

DURATION: 6 / 7 / 8

Taliyah can reactivate Weaver's Wall while channeling to ride atop the wall at 1500 speed as it emerges. Taking damage or inputting a movement command in any direction will force her off the wall, which will continue along its path normally. Reactivating Weaver's Wall destroys the wall instantly.


So that's all of her skills and what they do. Then I ask why isn't she played? Is she underpowered? Is she weak? The way I see it. She just doesn't have enough MHM to be played. Lets discuss what I think could be buffs/changes to make Taliyah, somewhat popular.


1. Allow her Seismic Shove (W/Second Ability) to knock Taliyah back/Direction she chooses to shove enemies.

For an ability called Seismic Shove, sounds like she's shaking the god damn earth to make her... Shove some earth up to move an enemy. Yet for some odd reason she can't shove herself? Why is that? I bring this up, cause we have another character with an ability a lot like her shove, by the now famous bot lane APC, Ziggs (Ziggs ). His Satchel Charge, or his W. Allows him to knock up himself in a direction based off the location of himself from the center of the Satchel, and enemies towards, away, sideways, where they are relative to the Satchel. Of course they do 2 jobs. Ziggs is a tower destroyer while Taliyah (Feels like to me) a mage fighter. Using her Q and E + W combos to outplay and destroy her enemies. I just think it'd be a nice touch to give her some safety in lane, plus the ability to hop over walls with it. It has quite a long CD as is. So does she save it to safe herself, or does she use it to force someone into her mines?

2. Make her Worked Ground Q (When she is over an empowering circle that makes her Q shoot 1 rock and refunds 50% mana) have half CD

This is a bit bold of me, but I'd say it'd be a nice buff. Shooting 5 rocks is what makes the Q so poweful. With its already low mana cost you can spam it hard in lane to zone and farm up from a safe distance. However I feel as if her "Empowered" Q is slightly weak compared to that. Would you rather shoot 5 rocks (1 deals full damage, while the other 4 will deal 40% less, so level 1 for example with zero ability power you would deal at most 210 damage of course I am not implying penetration nor MR to this equation) or shoot 1 rock (only 70 damage) but get half mana back? I don't know about you but I'd rather shoot 5. With a 6 second CD level 1 (Without CDR Runes or masteries) you lose a lot of that poke, zone, and overall lane control. However spamming 1 rock with a 3 second CD level 1, while getting 50% of the mana back might be too strong. I wouldn't know I have no way to test it COUGH COUGH Sandbox mode please COUGH COUGH


3. Last, but not least. Allow allies to ride her ultimate wall ONLY. If they're at the end, or where it started.

This really would make her different. Able to rush her whole team to Baron/Dragon/Nexus(Which makes me question if this would be fair)/Turret or even a dive. Then the ability to save team mates by giving them a way out by running BACK up the wall. This is sorta self explanatory and hard to really say more then it already does it's self.
