Lp

What is lp based on? I know its somewhat based on mmr but I would like more detail, because I keep winning only 10 -15 lp but when I lose a game I around 20lp. At the current it will take me winning 8 games or more in a row just to get to series. I average around an A for a grade.

Holy ballsack your MMR is low. Okay so the reason your gains/losses are off balance is because your win/loss ratio is horrible. Not to be mean but 107W 161L (Win Ratio 40%) isnt deserving of ranking up. Hope i dont come off as a dick, its just the dirty truth -_-

He's right. If the master computer thinks that you should be higher rank than the one you are currently in, then you will gain a lot of LP after winning a game, and will not lost a lot when losing a game. However, if the game thinks that you're supposed to be in a lower rank than what you were placed in, you will gain less LP when you win and lose a shit ton of LP whenever you lose.

Example: Bronze 2 Player that SHOULD be in Silver 1 Win a Ranked game: Gain 30 or more LP Lose a Ranked game: Lose 15 or less LP

Bronze 2 Player that SHOULD be a lower rank Win a Ranked game: Gain 15 or less LP Lose a Ranked: Lose 20 or more LP

That's my total ratio but in the last month or so Im getting around 60 % plus. Yes, I understand my win ratios is low but there are lots of factors that go into but looking at my individual performance I perform pretty well. My mmr isn't an accurate picture of my skill level because I have bested higher teir players in my main role as a jg.

unfortunately the system doesn't read individual skill, rather if you are winning or not.
