Fair has nothing to do with it.

The sole purpose of LOL is to make money that's it. I should say the over arching purpose. The secondary thing is addiction. Making you addicted to LOL is it's secondary purpose which leads to it's first purpose. Money making has nothing to do with fair. Do you ever wonder why it consistently give you less points on a win than what you loose on a loss ! The randomness of the team is another purpose to get you addicted bc you cannot win without winning with the team and you cannot loose without loosing with the team. So if the team is random you have random chance of winning. Which when you think of it is sort of like gambling and other addictive stuff. So when you win you get a chemical reaction in your brain and when you loose you get another reaction. It's really very simple you can't win too much neither can you loose too much !!! They have an algorithm that makes sure of this. Feeling that it is unfair is just the reaction they want. This will make you attempt to over come the unfairness but even that... is all part of the game. So enjoy your enslavement.

Businesses make money? wow ty for the info.

I'm sure every single rioter is just in it for the money. From Phreak to play tester. Not one person's heart is in the right place. Okay then...

Do you ever wonder why it consistently give you less points on a win than what you loose on a loss

Wait, I thought this was a byproduct of MMR. With my 66% winrate, I'm getting 23+ points a win, and about 16 loss. Thank you for letting me know its random! Im sure your 4 losses at Bronze 4 0 LP against bronze 5 players has nothing to do with it!

you cannot win without winning with the team and you cannot loose without loosing with the team

Hmmmmm idk. I've carried alot of games and have won single handily plenty of times.

If I could win 20 and lose 2, Im gonna say I've without won despite my team in atleast a couple for sure ;)

So when you win you get a chemical reaction in your brain and when you loose you get another reaction.

Dopamine? Yeah u get that with any pleasure. Just because you enjoy something, doesnt mean its bad. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you dont get any reaction when you lose, you just dont have the dopamine reaction lol, therefore, addiction to dopamine. I'm making the argument for you, but you can have a dopamine addiction to literally anything. I might have one from replying to posts like this one.

So the way MMR works, is that if I win a ton of games, I'm gonna going to placed in a higher tier lobby. Everyone will be lets say, D4/D3 instead of d5/P1.

I actually really like when this happens. Why? The games are harder, BUT, you get much more LP gains, and lose alot less. I would be able to climb with a 40~ winrate until my MMR levels out, due to my high MMR impacting matchmaking. Remember that part where you complained about losing more than you gained? Its because the opposite happened. Thats what happens when you lose too much. When you understand how it works, its not bad. I like it.

Also, how much wins does this take? You know, before "riot makes you lose".

After that 20-2 record, I still did pretty good, not 91% winrate good, but like 70%-ish until I got near diamond. (because thats the level I'm at).

Do you think you hit that wall after a few wins? When you think about it, what you assume happens doesn't really makes sense when you look at myself or people who smurf/boost. They never hit that wall. They just win.

Feeling that it is unfair is just the reaction they want.

Can I get a source on this? I explained how everything worked, but I dont see how its supposed to make it feel unfair. If I'm playing at a d4 level, let my play with other d4s. If you're playing at a bronze 5 level, its gonna let you play with other bronze 5s.

This will make you attempt to over come the unfairness but even that... is all part of the game. So enjoy your enslavement.

In solo, I think the matchmaking is pretty fair. Duo makes things weird, but other than that, it gets a [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] from me

This game could not get you "addicted", much less make money, if you didn't think it was reasonably fair.

I consistently get more points for a win than I lose for a loss.

So if the team is random you have random chance of winning.

Good thing there's a matchmaking service which does a pretty decent job matching similarly skilled players together. That is, assuming the players are actually trying their best, of course.

First off it's a FREE game. You basically pay money to change the way your champ looks in game. Second, if you're getting shitty teammates it's because you clearly are in the same boat as them. Dude, you built STATIC SHIV on NASUS. You can't turn in a book report and expect to get an A if you never read the book. You can't expect to get better team mates or get a higher rank if you never learn from your mistakes.
