Heimerdeinger support? Can it work?

Okay so, I know this isn't meta, and I wasn't looking for a genius meta break pick. I just didn't want to play Taric or Janna like I usually do. You see, my ADC was a Teemo... ADC Teemos are people who have no intention of being team players... Obviously if they wanted to be team players they wouldn't ADC Teemo. So long story short I decided to play Heim and take over the lane, try and 2v1.

What I found out was honestly kind of surprising, not only was the pressure understandably good, but Heim seems to have a hidden support function. The enemy support was a nautilus, and oh how he tried to Q me... The issue is the turrets kept getting in his way. It even happens to work out so that if you are fast enough you can place a turret faster than he can Q you. Heim turrets can block attacks like naut Q on a moments notice. I'm not certain, but at this point I think he may be a viable counter pick to Naut/Blitz/Thresh. They try to grab you, they grab a turret in their face.

So I'm still not sure support Heim will be new meta, but it really does seem like he is a viable support between blocking with turrets and denying area on Zyra level.
