To Riot.

Oh RIOT games. Could you please for once listen, and do the things your players ask for? Instead of just pretending you do?

I and many others find it really hard to believe. That you actually listen to any of your fans. Who asked for dynamic queue? Who wanted this so bad? The players? Or the market research team? Whenever I contact support they just point me to the boards. When I write to the boards, and even when most people agree Riot games still just do your own thing. Cough, Mordekaiser, cough changes…

Changes to the game in general are needed. New strategies and tools are always a plus. But the removal, and/or destroying its purpose all together is just stupid. For example champion bans. Once upon a time they had real stratagems. We could ban out poke comps or supper mobile comps. Now they are just ban the most OP thing, or target bans. Both being pretty much the same thing. Its true purpose lost and forgotten. And no one seems to even care. There are too many of these changes for the sake of changes.

I get that new champions make you money. So they are wanted by the players and Riot games. But when too many of the new champions are too similar to previous champions. It's just sad. It pretty much removed any real meaning to the banning phase. Many of the old kit champions have fallen out of play-ability. And instead of focusing on these problems. You guys focus more on how to make the game different. Item changes just get more and more complicated because of this. The balance of mobility is so out of whack it is pretty much required. You either get mobility or CC. If you don’t have one or the other you’re only handicapping yourself. This is why talon is bad.

The removal of solo/duo queue was stupid. It was the final straw that broke the camel back for a large part of your player base. League was a game you could play solo. Hold your own and still help your team. Now it is a premade team or don’t play game. You guys have fundamentally changed the solo player experience from being OK to punishing. It is now so heavily focused on playing with premades that if you don't you shouldn't be playing the game.

I can’t tell you how bad it feels to look at the rewards when you want to play solo. It’s like you don’t want to do a premade? Well here let me kick you right in-between those legs. I really don’t think you guys at Riot get it. Solo players need love too. And it feels like recently all you have done is discourage that to the MAX!!! Just without saying so. And that’s a big part of why many people have left/stopped playing. As it really feels you just don’t want solo players anymore. This is bad, and it feels like Riot thinks it’s the way to go. Sad really. It's like your forcing people to make new friends based on there MMR level.

I could list so many things. So many!! But at least give the solo players there solo queue back. No duo’s needed. Just give us. You know the players. At least something. Where we can actually play solo competitively again. It would go a long way. To fixing the so many things you have done wrong. Please stop neglecting your customers.

I haven't played a game in months. And when I did it wasn't very many. 3 Dynamic queues where other premade group was clearly stronger. Followed by a 3 min surrender on my team sealed that fate. And I for one won't play again until there is a solo queue again.

I just want to rant on a few other things now. Before I say my final good bye. As I really don’t think Riot will ever actually listen to its players. I don’t even watch pro play anymore. The game just sucks now. Also with a major patch coming out right before every freaking major tournament is also supper annoying. Makes it unfun to watch. As well as the WTF reaction as to why the hell Riot even does that anyways. Lets see what team got the new meta right first. That's what the end of season tournaments are. Especially in the more competitive regions.

Just in case any of you didn’t know. When playing your placement matches. You are purposely placed lower than your actual rank. Riot has admitted this. And the reason as to WHY is: Because Riot stubbornly believe that people won’t continue to play. That is if they are placed where they should. This is beyond stupid. As well as being the major factor for ELO hell. I for one am sick of climbing back to gold every season. So much so that with the addition of Dynamic queue. I have pretty much stopped playing the game. Well Riot games your fear of placing me where I should be is ironically one of the major factors of me not wanting to play your game anymore. Even the pro’s don’t understand this, and have complain.

I have gotten as High as gold 2. In two different seasons. I just don't play enough to see how good I really am. I have a wife and 4 kids. I can't play every day to climb higher. I don't have time to make 1 million friends so I can always have a good premade team. I would just play on my own time. And I was good. Now it doesn't seem to matter how good I am. Getting placed in bronze 3 really sucked. Took me months to climb back to silver. Simply because of the amount of time I can put into the game. And when I think about how much more I have to climb to be where I should have been. It just makes me feel sick. And I just don't ever get past the log-in screen.

But Riot games still claim that it listen to its players. Listen to us. Really. I call it BS. And Riot wish, or maybe even believes we think they do. Well I am sure there are some fanboys out there that do. But common this has just gotten stupid. I can't really image any solo players still playing this game anymore.
