Why nerf tanks when there are so many tank killers now. (Kindred)

I feel like people made such a big deal when tanks were popular (yet that's never the case when assassins are popular) and riot simultaneously nerfed tanks and buffed a lot of ways to kill them which is just overkill. First There is sated and BORK combo which is tank killing in itself and they also added true damage or armor pen to champs like GP, Fiora, Garen etc. I don't understand why the balance can't be left more to champion select and people actually have to think a little about team comps.

If opposing team picks tank, pick one of many tank killers, trundle, fiora, Gp, kog, vayne and Kindred is now the Ultimate tank killer with so much %health and naturally wanted to build penetration/reduction. Mages can also take out tanks with a good buff to liandry's which is a great item and people don't realize. And its not like assassins are useless with good tanks. If you have a tank on your team as an assassin, you take out their adc and even if you die you took out there best option to kill a tank.

the problem is the items, imo

They can't make tank items both good -and- cheap; I think they need a pass-over to make them more expensive but more efficient in order to compensate for the growing amounts of anti-tank options

that, or we can give tanks innate anti-antitank options a la damage reduction, which Amumu, Maokai, and Alistar already have

Which tank nerfs are you talking about?

Overall if you are talking about Juggernauts they need to be nerfed a little bit more for balance purposes things like Darius Skarner Garen still need a little bit more tweaking but its a good start.

Plus Kindred's kit moreso gives her tools to deal with tanks as opposed to ripping through them like Vayne and Kog'maw. Her %max health damage is tied to an active, 3 hit ability with a cooldown and her passive deals current% health damage as physical damage so it can be mitigated, and requires her to stack her passive before it becomes a serious threat to tanks.

That's because the majority of the community plays assassins/dps champions, just like in pretty much every online game that has PvP. What sucks is that Riot pretty much caters to them every season. I mean, I guess it's natural to appeal to the wider audience, but the gameplay and balance of the game suffers as a result.

Compare tanking in S2 compared to now and it's almost like night and day. It felt good to be a tank in that season because you could live long enough to be useful, no matter what tank you were, so long as you built correctly. These days, the only "good" tanks are the ones with either %damage reduction or %bonus armor/mr scaling. Anything less struggles to stay alive after the mid game.
