I mean since the season is end and I stayed in Gold 5, I wanted to play some fun champions like teemo or some despicable finesse in rank.(lol) and I expect to lost a lot. so can you still get demoted to silver now if you lose too much?

If your mmr sinks enough you will no longer be matched with gold laters and instead matched with silver players so on that sense yes you will be demoted and on the hard reset for next season you will be placed on low silver.
