So i would first like to point out, yes removing the true stealth on her W was what should have been done in the first place.

However, that being said this champion has already been through a BRUTAL nerf since her rework when she was already at a near 70%banrate and almost breaking less than a 40%winrate. Naturally with these nerfs it just got worse.

Now were looking at taking away her only sustain (Q) and the true stealth (again i agree shouldnt have in the first place) but being granted NOTHING in return for compensation.

Yeah you did it, the banrate will plumit but so will the already garbage winrate because this champ is gutted.

Hopefully they can revert some of the nerfs she received prior to the removal of the True Stealth.

Rever nerfs? In case you didn't notice, she's getting not just the obscure under tower removed, but also a cooldown increase so it takes longer to get W back.

Let's not even talk about how Q heal is removed, and although Riot said they are looking in replacing that with a new mechanic, she got nothing.

Talon, Pyke, Kha'Zix, Rengar, Kayn, Nocturne, Yi and Evelynn would like a word with you, or two.

Heck, the only assassins without healing are Zed, Shaco and LeBlanc, but at how fast they kill and at how safe they are, it's not like they would need it in the first place.

Almost all the assassins you've listed, not even including talon's ability to jungle, are junglers which is why they need sustain for the jungle. And pyke is a special case. Not only is he a support assassin, but there have still been many complaints about how his grey health works and nerfs and adjustments to help play against it I can understand jungle assassins, but Akali isn't one of them.

And all of those assassins share something in common that Akali no longer has:

can tower dive

Or didn't had after the rework

Burst

Also there are 4 Assassins I missed: Ekko, Ahri, Fizz and Katarina. Ekko and Ahri also have healing. And all can burst, duel and dive, Akali can neither anymore.

You think just because her shroud obscured is taken away that she can't tower dive anymore? Ummm okay..So unless a champ is untargetable under tower they can't tower dive? If you really need that big of a handicap to towerdive an opponent, I recommend playing bots for a while.

Ekko gets health back from his R which is until he hits LEVEL 6. That's not lane sustain. Especially if it's on a high ult cooldown.

Yes ahri DOES have healing but SHOULD she? No. This is one of the reasons why ahri consistently remains in the top 3 for highest mid lane stats. And again just because she can't handicap turrets anymore doesn't mean that she can't burst duel or dive.

She doesn't have burst damage.

What all the other assassins do in 2 sec, she takes 6+ due to her low damage and passive.

She's also made of paper, as her defensive stats were lowered because of her tower invulnerability.

With no burst and no defense, she can't dive. I mean, yea, she can, even Evelynn can dive and try to kill someone with autos, but is it a good idea? No.

When an assassin dives, they burst you down and retreat with their mechanics. When Akali dives, she can't burst you down, so she dies.

If you've never seen an akali burst someone down or tower dive someone without her shroud. I really don't know what to say to you man. You either are in a really low elo and/or you haven't watched any high elo streamers or proplay at all.

Akali naturally don't need sustain, Hextech gunblade is part of her everyday build. Considering how safe she is in early game, she wasn't punished enough.

Riot didn't touch her dmg and she will still one shot you if you're not careful

Akali has the highest TTK of all assassins and even a lot of mages, and no, I don't mean burst mages, just casual mages can burst harder than Akali can, AKA, barely any damage.

She will get buffs, btu right now riot is doing the right thing. When a champion is sitting at a garbage winrate but a massive banrate something is wrong with the champion and you have too look for it an fix it afterwards you can balance the champion.

Her Wr is on plat/plat+ down to 38%... and 20-25min game lengh to 35%. Tbh its okay what they did to the shroud, it was simply broken but the whole rework is trash ... shes hard to balance with this kit imo Damage Buff -> Can deal too much dmg over the time -> Nerf Sustain Buff -> Outsustains the most enemy or still no dmg for an assassin (new bruiser?) Both -> Op in most matchups -> Banrate increased

Funfact: Akali counters Zed on champions.gg with am 32%!!! winrate xD
