Opinion On Ryze
Hello everyone.
This is my first topic here and I wanted to shared with you my opinion on the new Ryze since I don't see many threads about it.
So far I've been playing Ryze a lot in the diamond ranking and I have experimented the Tank and Ap items. So here's the Cons and Pros imo.
PS : english isn't my native language.
Pros :
- He is blue
- thematically he's still the mana dood.
- Animation and visually are really good
- Still the Weak early and Strong late game
- Extremely easier to play
- More combos with E and Q
Cons :
- Ultimate has a small Range and huge delay before it teleport )
- Snare is quite weak and has a really long cooldown.
- Now it's E Q only basically. Less fun
- Squishy early and late game even with tanky items.
- I don't feel anymore the Steroid mage aspect he had.
- Underpower at the moment. Even Urgot would be a better pick than Ryze.
Conclusion :
As a Ryze main I feel the New Ryze is visually better than he was before and a lot more balanced but I also think the current gameplay he has is quite bad like I think any other ultimate would have make it more fun to play because imo it's a boring ult . I don't see myself keep playing that champion in the future unless there's maybe some changes made in the future patches.
TL DR : gameplay not cool but visually awesome
