lack in key frequency and grading

Why is it that i get one key frag like every month even when i do good in games? I think if the patch notes on hextech crafting say that when you win a game you get a key that you as a player should get a key frag, if not don't tell us that. Second, how can my friend go 5/3/1 and get an s- and i go 6/2/4 and don't get anything. I think this very unfair and needs to be fixed.

If you and your friend were playing different champs then that's why, it's based on the average performance of that champion in that role. If your friend were to play soraka jungle and you played lucian adc, you could go 10/4/5 and get an A while your friend goes 1/4/7 and gets an S. As for key frags the frequency decreases as you get more, and resests every month or so.
