Kha'zix and what to do

I have mained kha'zix since the start of this year when I just hit level 30. I have had great success with him, however there was only one problem. That is teamfights. I have always had trouble with teamfights and playing kha'zix has only made it harder. For beginners it is extremely hard to isolate targets because they are all bunched together. Also when the team fight begins I try to mainly focus the fed ones, however sometimes the only people on the enemy team that are fed are the tanks so I am practically useless. Does anyone have any tips for how to teamfight as kha'zix?

Wait for the fight to start then flank the adc or mid(only if you can forsure kill them in one combo) then hop out and let your team push in to fight. After that you pick off stragglers if any. If ppl are half hp or lower then go ham with the leap resets. Just stay mobile and watch for when the CCs are done to go in.

Its so hard to explain how to team fight with champs like kha'zix because the way he team fights is so different from other champs. Best tip I can give is don't jump into a team right right away, wait until most of the enemy CC is gone then jump in and wreck faces and take names.

The answer is that you don't. You need to stay around the sides of team fights and wait for targets to isolate themselves. DO NOT ENGAGE INTO A TEAMFIGHT. Your primary focus should be the backline. When adcs team fight they often move around a lot to reposition. Wait for this moment (or any carry tbh) and then jump for them when they are isolated. Max your q first, then your e, then your w, although you can max r if you want to lol.

you have to isolate and pick people off on the way to the team fight. Or do clean up at the end. Or if your team can split enemy team then you have the advantage.

I haven't played khazix in a long while but I used to be a khazix main so here's some (probably not as good) advices:

You can flank and take down the carry in the back line, even if they're not fed but you should always prioritize a fed enemy if they're not a tank (use ult -> E + combo)

As an assassin, don't expect to start the fight; you clean up instead. either wait for that 1 v 5 penta kill clean up (not recommended) or

Wait for the perfect time to start your "snowball" aka E resets: it opens so many possibilities for you

BEFORE GOING INTO A FIGHT, PLEASE PLEASE CHECK THE ITEMIZATION OF THE ENEMIES TO FURTHER CONFIRM YOUR TARGET PRIORITIZATION

To recap, the only reasons to go into a fight:

Flanking a carry (but you must let your team start the team fight UNLESS scenario [3] pops up, which then you can sacrifice yourself to kill the carry if they're that big of a threat--but you won't die if you can E out) make sure to flank from a wall so you can leap/escape over that wall to lower the chances of dying.
Securing a kill (i.e. joining in on the fun after it has been communicated in your team that the thank engager will attack the enemy carry or something)/securing your snowball (e resets)
Assassinating an isolated target
Cleaning up
Wait for CCs to be used on your tanks

Other than that, stay back line and wait.
