class reworks are over now.... R.I.P Old Pre/Mid-season? pls give answers Riot

Everybody knew them. I loved them and it is over. I always hyped about pre and mid season,because this is the point where the meta is created , new elements, new features, new items and some other cool stuff got created. What happens now in these patches? Last times we always get many stuff for the class that gets reworked , some other stuff and 1 bigger that affects everyone ( element drakes , plants and so on) What will come this pre-season? Sure the runes, I like them and I am very exicted, but I hope there will be some major work to some items, objectives and champs. For example : Mid-season s8 , how you much do you will plan ?

All in all I am afraid that champios that are not bad, but very deafult will get no chance to come back. With class updates and bigger changes there were the chance for many champions to come back: ( malzahar: since pre season 6 always good in some way,) I don't want that class updates stay, but I want to hear that you will still focused on big changes in pre and mid season that not depend on a class, but are useful.
