Basically I just got into Bronze 4 from my provisional matches and I just lost a game.
I heard there's a shield that prevents you from being demoted when you enter a new league or division.
How much losses before it gets counted towards an actual demotion to in my case, Bronze 5?

Rain Smurff2 votesyou have a shield for 3 games if you climb a division. Your mmr is low so you dont have to worry about that. You should be fine for 2 more games.

Snowball4u1 votesThere isnt a sheild at all. Everything is based on mmr.
If your mmr is well above bronze 4, (say gold 5) it could take 20-25 losses in a row to drop.
If your mmr is below the average bronze 5, you could get demoted on the first game.
Usually its 2-5 losses in a row but dont expect to not drop after 2 losses if you have low mmr.
Blood Flowers2 votesI may be wrong about this (since I heard it from a friend, but it sounded reasonable): The shield is usually in a situation like where you get promoted to Silver from Bronze and will then be able to lose quite a few games before going from Silver V back to Bronze I. I don't think any such shield exists between the divisions of the same rank. But - you should still be able to lose 3-4 games at 0LP before being demoted.
