Do all members of the community react negatively when meta picks aren't in place?

So, Lucian mid is one of my mains and i enjoy playing it into most match ups but... My team on the otherhand hate it and will from champ select keep a negative attitude and on several occasions count from the first minute up till the 20th saying "(number of minutes) till ff" Does that happen to anyone else or do i just get morons in every game?
