/Muteall is really the best thing Riot has ever done for League of Legends

Any time I have a toxic player on my or the other team, I instantly /muteall in chat. I've won more games using this than I have just letting them talk.

Have someone spewing insults at you for no reason? Type '/muteall' in chat!

Annoyed that someone is spam pinging you? Type '/muteall' in chat!

Thank you, Riot, for having this ever-so-wonderful option :D

1 question for you.

is everyone in the room targeting you? if so, why....

and to be sure... are you sure its everyone and not just a couple of people.

there are very very few reasons to mute all.

Eh, it's actually a pretty good feature. Since you can get punished for basically anything, it's best not to leave the option of seeing people responding to the troll. Maybe it wouldn't be the case if the punishments weren't so liberal.

My brother was defending himself against toxic teammates saying he was trash, bad, etc. Then they threw out the 'kys' and the 'stfu f*aggot' and other colorful phrases. He ended up getting chat restricted for 5 games for saying, 'Why do people have to be so goddamn hateful in this game? It's JUST a game.'

I'd love to see the full chatlog as I have serious doubts to that being all he said.

Also, there's no such thing as a 5 game chat restriction. Lowest it goes is 10.

I just do it to focus. If my teammates are genuinely nice to me then I don't mute all players. It's helped me since i've started to grind for gold this season. It might not happen, but I've had a significantly higher win rate when I mute all than when I don't. I guess it just comes down to personal preference.
