I play a lot of top, but I never felt like I really enjoyed playing the champions I played. Those include LeBlanc
, Camille
, Teemo
, and Irelia
. I have been looking into Yorick
and Aatrox
, but they never seem to appear on the free champ rotation. Are Yorick and/or Aatrox fun to play? Or should I look into other champions? Im thinking Swain and Yasuo?*[sg-ahri-1]*Suggestions please, and thanks in advance

It seems like you like to play mid laners in the top lane, which does work at times because mid lane champions are able to poke or burst top laners, which is often difficult for them to deal with for some time. If you are able to get ahead and stay ahead of a meta top laner, you can be very oppressive. However, if they are able to get ahead or stay even with you, they will eventually beat you ... if they actually know what they are doing.
Camille is the only meta top laner of the 4 you mentioned. Irelia used to be, but she is more of a mid laner right now. Teemo is cheesed in the top lane because it is easy to get ahead like I mentioned before.
Yorick and Aatrox are definitely meta top laners. You might also look into, 
There are of course a few others that can function decently, but you still fall in line with what I said earlier.

Well, again, you seem to enjoy playing mid lane champions .. You might like way Swain feels, but I don't know that I would consider him to be the easiest to learn or the strongest champion to pick up currently.
Top lane and mid lane really do require different play-styles in order to be effective. You honestly might want to consider switching your role to mid lane.
But, if you insist on playing top lane, you might want to pick one of the simpler champions to learn. Garen would probably be at the top of my list for this.
So I guess there you go, Swain and Garen.

My issue, .. and probably everyone's issue, .. with playing support is that it is incredibly difficult to carry a match as a support. You get pretty much no gold and you have to share exp with your bottom lane carry.
If they don't do well, .. there is pretty much nothing you can do.
When I play support, I like to play champions who have the ability to carry as well.
My go-to support is Bard. He has good sustain with his heal and his chimes give him bonus exp, mana sustain, great roaming potential, and the bonus damage and passive effects from his meeps will make him almost always relevant late game, even on a support's budget. He basically becomes a cheap off-carry. The problem is, .. it gets easy to get distracted by the drive to collect chimes. You need to have a decent understanding of macro game to be good at playing roaming supports, and that is something that often takes players a long time to understand, .. if they ever really do.
RookPusher1 votesI don't personally think Swain and Yorick are fun but that's one man's opinion. I'd suggest trying the usual suspects of Darius, Garen, and Nasus. They seem to have universal appeal.

I don't think so. Aatrox is a specific counter champ. If someone knows what he's going to do, then it's curtain.

Aatrox does have a pretty simple play style. Is Susan hard to play? I played against a Susan and it was pretty annoying as some of his abilities arent rly visible.
Alzon1 votesIf you want a teamfighter, go for Sion or Jarvan. Nasus is great for improving your overall game knowledge. Darius and Garen are solid laners with good lategames and not too high of a skill curve.

I would play Garen and such but I never felt like maining them. Are there any other suggestions you have that are fun to main as well?

Fun, wacky top laners are Sion, Tahm Kench, and Singed. Note that Singed is not for everyone - he requires a completely unique mindset to play properly, one that I never could quite get down.

For example, my typical Jarvan build is Titanic Hydra > situational tank item > situational tank item or Cleaver if shred is needed > situational tank item or Duskblade if more damage is required to remain a threat vs. squishies.
Edit: Pure tanks CAN still be very strong, but they are very situational in solo queue.

Alzon1 votesLook up a youtuber named King Nidhogg. Watch his videos to learn Jarvan mechanics. The videos are kinda dated, so you don’t have to max W or rush Sunfire, but the advice is solid.
