I play a lot of top, but I never felt like I really enjoyed playing the champions I played. Those include LeBlanc
, Camille
, Teemo
, and Irelia
. I have been looking into Yorick
and Aatrox
, but they never seem to appear on the free champ rotation. Are Yorick and/or Aatrox fun to play? Or should I look into other champions? Im thinking Swain and Yasuo?*[sg-ahri-1]*Suggestions please, and thanks in advance
Top lane is all about sustain.
It seems like you like to play mid laners in the top lane, which does work at times because mid lane champions are able to poke or burst top laners, which is often difficult for them to deal with for some time. If you are able to get ahead and stay ahead of a meta top laner, you can be very oppressive. However, if they are able to get ahead or stay even with you, they will eventually beat you ... if they actually know what they are doing.
Camille is the only meta top laner of the 4 you mentioned. Irelia used to be, but she is more of a mid laner right now. Teemo is cheesed in the top lane because it is easy to get ahead like I mentioned before.
Yorick and Aatrox are definitely meta top laners. You might also look into, 
There are of course a few others that can function decently, but you still fall in line with what I said earlier.
I don't personally think Swain and Yorick are fun but that's one man's opinion. I'd suggest trying the usual suspects of Darius, Garen, and Nasus. They seem to have universal appeal.
If you want a teamfighter, go for Sion or Jarvan. Nasus is great for improving your overall game knowledge. Darius and Garen are solid laners with good lategames and not too high of a skill curve.
Jax is about as fun as Camille
Yasuo is fun, but definitely difficult to learn properly. I suggest going to r/yasuomains on reddit for good info as to yasuo
