Silver and below(ranked)

main account is gold, my smurf is silver. i didnt play much ranked in solo q but i never felt it was hard to move up on my main. so i started playing on my smurf, got into silver 3. but ive been seeing quite a bit of people who are just playing and dont understand the basics such as dodging skill shots/cs'ing/when to split push and when to group or cooperating in general etc.

ive also seen an increased amount of toxic players than before as well as players who dont seem to deserve silver. Since theres always going to b toxic players in any kind of game, its quite hard to stop, however there are other ways of at least raising the player's skill level such as re-posting videos of teamwork op and wards op on their front page in client so that even if players dont understand the basics they could at least ward or work together w/ other people. (i am not saying that i approve of toxic behavior but id rather have a player w/ skill than one who is all talk. if he/she is too annoying then theres always the ignore button)

another problem w/ ranked that ive seen is that there are people who won 3 games and still managing to get into silver 5 or 4. A year ago if people won 3 games then they would have been placed in bronze 4 or 5. This hurts the ranking system because those players who should be put in bronze are now being placed in silver thus making the majority of the players in silver 4 and 5 instead of bronze. (reason why im pointing this out is b/c id like to know the reason why riot would want so many players to be in silver rather than in bronze) PS: now i just feel like silver is just another bronze

Another problem ive seen has been w/ duo queues. since my smurf account is low silver its not surprising to see bronze 1 players joining in the same queue, however in those same games(generally on the other team), ive been seeing low silvers duoing w/ golds. although riot may think differently my solution that ive come up w/ would be to making duoing only for those in the same tier or if in different tiers then those w/ divisions just one above or below their own(e.g. silver 1 duoing w/ gold 5). After all seems quite unfair for a gold 1 to be duoing w/ a silver 4 right?

Silver / Bronze and Gold are pretty much the same Elo , only excluding Bronze 5 from the list .

What I am saying is , you're not any better if you're in gold .

and this would be coming from someone who isnt part of this elo. wat im trying to say is to bring back diff tips that are more visible to all players rather than just putting one sentence in loading and no explanation behind the reason why its good

although i do agree that bronze/silver/gold dont differ very much b/c my way of thinking is anything below challenger is bronze.

I've seen Gold 4 & 5s go 1/12 as ADC and SUP in draft pick against Silver/Bronze players. I don't think much deprecates a bad day from a Gold 5 and a good day from a Bronze 1

ive also seen diamonds lose to silvers in lane. and this was in team ranked.

Add a tier below Bronze (Copper). That will result in more balanced tiers because more tiers should theoretically result in less strength difference in individual tiers, which increases consistency and makes it so that you need to fight for more of your promotions and maybe makes it harder to get a high initial placement.

this should work cept, they made that new tier master which would be for like the 1% in diamond 1 and up

if only they made a tier for the 60-80% of bronze and silver players
