Riot, I know you did A LOT (I mean TONS OF THINGS) to do the support role good and nice to play but sometimes, very often, usually, the losing support or sometimes both supports get TON OF HATE. I used to main support. I bought Sightstone every single game and when I go ward my ADC was usually saying ''wtf are you doing when i am fighting'' EVEN THOUGH I WAS TELLING THEM TO PLAY MORE DEFFENSIVLY WHILE I AM WARDING. When they started a fight, I was going with them to prevent this issue. The enemy junglers were coming and then the ADC tells me ''where are the wards fking noob??'' or ''0 vision gg''. As a support, other team members are USUALLY (Usually, not always lol) unthankful, fillen up with greed and don't get it how to use TRINKETS. SERIOUSLY, THEY ARE HERE FROM 2 SEASONS AND RIOT KEEPS UPGRADING THEM. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, USE THEM. And then when my team see that we have got only 4 wards on the map (3 Stealth wards, 1 Vision ward, all mine) they again blame me FOR NOT GETTING ANY FKING VISION. CAN WE JUST CHANGE THE WHOLE META SO SUPPORTS HAVE BETTER PLACES AND ARE A MORE DESIRABLE ROLE? Upvote this comment if you agree. CHANGE THE META PLACING FOR SUPPORTS. Like put them in the jungle to help (since now only jungle monster killer gets exp) or just roam and help everywhere. They are not personal supports of the ADCs, but of the whole team. In the poll down I'm 80% that ADC mains (From the type: Peel. Cover. Protect. Lololo no any thanks to the supports tho) will choose ''No, it's good''

This isn't a problem with supports themselves just the Team Mentality. No need to change where supports are. Just need to improve the image of a support.

I understand what you are saying, but it is more of the mindset of other players, rather than an issue with the support role. you are still providing vision, crowd control, heals, shields, or varying other buffs that benifit each member of the team, and yes, you spend the majority of the time nurturing a marksman and keeping them from harm, but a support knows how to help the entire team past the lane phase and continue to protect their marksman. the only issue ive seen in this post is that people hate supports because warding.
