Guys I need help! I'm not the best player at league and i can admit it. Its a team game and generally the only consistent factor is me. Leveling my account to 30 i felt like i did well enough most times and got a good grasp of Renekton. Seeing as hes a strong champ right now I felt like i could take him into ranked and see some even success. I had a 60% win rate with him in normals and while I didn't think I'd have repeat success in ranked I didn't think I'd be this bad. Can anyone take a look at my op.gg and give me some constructive criticism? I don't care how harsh it has to be! I'm 1/9 in my last 10 games and i just want to improve. I "feel" like I should be at least silver but my play isn't reflecting. Thanks for any input.

Honestly the correct answer here is probably "everything", however I see you're still REALLY new to the game and only played 18 ranked games total so far which is honestly a terrible sample size. I'd recommend you stick to Renekton for now and focus every game to do a single thing really good that game. Those things might be CSing, trading with your lane opponent, dying as rarely as possible, map awareness, general decision making and so on. Do you know Renekton's trading pattern? E forward, auto the enemy and then immediately cancel the auto animation with his W making the enemy pressed (Press for Attack), then Q and E out. Against tanks you should probably run Conqueror. Playing only 1 champion is by far the most efficient way to improving at league, and if you improve your rank will increase automatically along with it. Winning a single game is actually irrelevant, as long as you learn something from the game every game is a win.

You care about winning and therefore you won't. You need to remove your focus from this game and focus on having fun. The more you care about winning the less you will win. If you don't believe me, I finally stopped caring and I'm climbing and almost to gold in like a week from playing support/ADC but mostly from not caring about winning.

But if I wanted to play for "fun" i could just focus on normals right? Same end game.

This is correct. Fun is important but sometimes we need to sacrifice our fun to win because win is first priority in Ranked games.

Contrary to popular belief rank games are fun and can be fun. It's about perception. I can't tell you what to be mechincally but I can offer advice for morale and mental.

It's just a game. You have almost a year to gain elo. Playing an excessive amount won't give you excessive skill. Know how many games you can lose before you tilt. (My limit is 2. 1 if it's REALLY bad) It's just a game.

CSing is pretty low in those ranked games. Based off op.gg and the elo, I would say Renekton isn't being fully utilized via combos or playstyle in early game. There's a term in games called "Stop the bleeding" which is to change your playstyle by playing significantly safer to stop dying. It's not meant to play for a good kda while risking the game, but it is meant to stop any possible enemy snowballs. There's a lot of deaths in games both won and lost. I would also assume your wave control is little to none based of the deaths. You can use wave control to "Freeze", "Crash", or zone enemies from the Minion wave. It's essential to use in playing both safely and aggressively. Warding is a standard but you have some control wards in the games. That's great.

To fix csing, go into custom games with the champion you plan to play in ranked a lot and just cs (Prefferably with the starting items or no items at all). Once comfortable with med/high cs scores, go into the custom game with a bot or two in the lane to practice csing under pressure. Note : Throughout all this, you should not be using abilities. This also hones on your positioning and matching the enemy. Wave Control can be fixed through a few youtube videos. If you want a copy and paste route then TopSoloRenekton or RenektonTopOnly has Renekton based content but it's mainly a stomp so I kinda dislike those. If possible, find videos called "Playing from behind" for LoL, not many players know how to do it because most videos people watch are just wins, stomps, and general neat mechanics with the champion rather than understanding how to play the game.

Note : As you climb, games will become more difficult is already a given. What's not a given is also the amount of meta slaving and repetition of optimized builds and meta champs that will be in your games (One of the reasons why people like to smurf is to get out of these conditions).

Edit1 : When I smurf, I tend to have more confidence and fun playing different types of champs with different builds (You will have to raise the smurf from lvl 1 to lvl 30 though and that's tedious). At this time, both my smurf and my main are at the same rank for different reasons entirely where I play what's somewhat good on my main and play what's fun on smurf [God I love Xerath Support]. Yes, playing a champion and having "fun" can help but it's hard to do that on a main account where you also worry about your rank while on a smurf, you don't worry about climbing but moreso just playing the game.

You troll picked 3 of the games with Jhin, then semi-troll picked another few with Maokai. Winning is hard with off meta champs. The Renekton games look like they have low CS, maybe you can focus on that first at the moment.

I actually felt decent with Jhin. Most of the games I've won have been with Maokai so...

Glad to see that you're buying control wards. Just make sure you don't die saving one.

You can play Renekton, but you need to smash lane (at least the even and easy match-ups) and end quickly. A few games you get kill leads, but don't close out. Low elo tends to have slower games, so it's up to you to be proactive. Pull pressure to you to alleviate the other lanes and waste the enemy jg time, or pressure other lanes and get objectives. From my experience playing mid and top, it tilts mid when the side lanes gank mid.

Stay cool. Your lose streak will end. Pick 2 champs for your main and 1 for secondary because you don't have time to relearn matchups for 4+ champs if you have little time to play. Learn matchups not just look up who wins but how.

(e.g. garen gets shit on by teemo due to range advantage, teemo's e and garen's passive interaction, and blind blocks garen's q. Once you learn why you are favored or unfavored, you can learn how to mitigate your weakness and strengths. Garen often gets w to build passive resists by farming and block teemo's q poke. garen's q cleanses shroom slows).
