Bronze

I currently have two accounts, 1 in platinum (LamChop Senpai) and 1 in bronze (xuniqe) and currently i have been doing a test to see why most people are in bronze. I've figured it out at least i think. they either lack mechanics and general sense in what to do in the game or they just don't listen or they force themselves to play a lane they don't know how to play at all. I've never really talk on my plat account in games but as for my bronze account I've been reported for just saying "oh we should go for drag not push rn" they completely take that as an insult and get really defensive when you disregard their shot calls. Plus with the random pick order, if they're not last they would forced themselves into a lane they cant play, which is unfortunate because they most of the times dont do well.....and we all know its really hard to carry as support when your team is behind 15 kills before you even start grouping.....But I'm here to see if you guys would agree or not?

I think that bronze is a very big spectrum. There are so many types of bronze players: There are skill weaknesses and attitude problems. Most bronze players have good attitudes and simply have skill weakness. There is a small minority (much smaller minority than people expect) of people who just have a bad attitude

Skill weaknesses: -Some of them really just have one weakness, like CS, or trading kills (for example, I know my CS is very bad, and sometimes I chase when I shouldn't) -Some of them have difficulty communicating with a team. For example, they often forget to ping MIA, etc. -Some players have poor map awareness and coordination with the team. Their own mechanics might be very good, but they don't help the team out when they are in need of it. For example, if they are top and going 10-0, they just farm instead of switching lanes with 0-10 bot and helping them out. -Some players forget to ward unintentionally. Sometimes I forget too. I usually ward at the beginning of the laning phase and then end up forgetting, even though i try to remember

Attitude problems:

  • Some players flat out refuse to ward even when told. I told this guy "please ward dragon" and he said "only n00bs need wards, scrub. you ward yourself". -Others tend to have very bad attitudes and rage at other teammates. Instead of helping the 1-6 bot lane with a simple gank, they say "report Ez and Voli for feeding" etc. -Some also have a tendency to care about unimportant things like KS -Some people are in bronze because they have the "my way or the highway" type of attitude and will AFK or feed if they don't get their lane/champ

Could you give me some general advice then. Been stuck in B1. Basically need some champs that can carry 4v5 since half of my games turn out that way. Going positive, heavy roaming and calling objectives(ive had cases where i had to pop tibbers just to solo dragon because noone else would come) just does not seem to be enough.

bronze is harder and lighter than platinum. bronze > platinum.

bronzies are kids most of the time, i partially disagree that they do not have mechanics most have more than me, last hit like a pro hits skillshots just fine, what they lack is knowledge and situational awareness, no clue what and when to do, no clue how champs scale with particular items and most importantly they panic bigtime when attacked and hardy even try to fight back or just miss everything

One problem I see as a silver player, and I used to be a victim of, is the fact you are told you have to dominate your lane to win, and the problem is they/we believe dominating means killing the other guy 5 times before lvl 6, when dominating is really just winning the lane.

So you get these games that swing so wildly back and forth from constant throws where people are always trying so hard to make LCS Big Plays, and the problem is they/we are silver and lack the solid mechanics to make these plays consistently enough for them to be worth, and when they fail, which they normally do, you throw any advantage you had. All low elo solo Q is, is whoever makes the least amount of mistakes, which generally means the team that doesnt make so many yolo LCS Big play attempts.

Like for example, yest I was playing ADC. I'm beating the enemy kalista by 60cs. 60cs. That lane is over. Hes getting dominated. But my support blitz thinks thats not good enough, its more worth to tower dive 2-3 times to kill her when there is no reason to kill her; its not even going to make a difference. He dies every time, and helps give her some of the gold she lost by getting dominated. Her dying being that far behind isn't going to make a difference on the game, where dying to her by trying to kill her is going to make a hell of a difference on the game. Luckily, we won because they were arguing which is what happens when a team is losing, but I lose all kinds of games because of these kinds of plays, because thats what they have been told to do by higher elo ppl.

People undervalue CS totals in low elo.
