You kidding right? This is a great change overall. Less people that monopolized challenger/master spots, less boosted players, more smurf accounts that were artifically kept in the high elo just for purpose of having this rank will be decayed to d1. Challenger and Master will become a more active place in which all people actually play the game often. Queue times will definitely lower and no Riot doesn't force you to play 1 game daily. You can choose on which day you wanna play, you can play 3 games today and you dont have to play for next 3 days. That's how the banked games system works and its good.
Pretty sure any Challenger/Master player will agree with me, unless they got boosted to this division, or were playing only 1 game a week to keep themselves in the division they are. If that's what you did, then you obviously don't deserve to be in one of this divisions. This is supposed to be a place where people compete against each other for being one of the best in the world, or to get recruited into Challenger Series or LCS. If you randomly get into Challenger because you played a lot and tryharded, and then afterwards decide to play just 1 game per week which was the minimum to not decay, just to be able to call yourself a Challenger for the entire year, you didn't deserve it. Meta shifted a milion of times during that time, and if all you did was play 1 game per week on that high elo, then you just abused the system, nothing more than that.
Any challenger or master player has the high elo decision making and mechanics, which aren't gonna go anywhere just because you play one game per week. Even if meta shifts, your winrate will at most lower to like 40% which still won't decay you from Challenger that fast if you play 1 game per week and assume you get 40% winrate.
