Upgrading trinkets isnt always useful

If you aren't going to use the trinket anyways why spend the gold on the upgrade? Just played a game where ashe was telling people to upgrade their trinkets when she only placed 4 wards

Whether or not you use the trinket does not correlate to it's usefulness.

Also, did you check to see if she had item 3342 instead of item 3340? ADC's should normally get the orb simply for the extra protection it provides.

Upgrading your trinket is ALWAYS useful. You can never have enough vision and if you get the Greater Vision Totem, you can deny vision as well. Map control is essential, wards do equal wins in the vast majority of games.

Whether or not a trinket is used, is irrelevant to how useful upgrading trinkets is.

Now here is where ashe is goal here is to increase vision all around so tell people to upgrade it is not that bad. what i think he trying to get at that she is being hypocrite by telling people to place wards when she had the upgrading warding trinket and only place 4(which is really sad by the way). now to say if you not going to place the wards why would you want to upgrade it in the first it is a waste of money if you not smart enough place them down.(even though you should place the wards down). over all i think he was getting at that this ashe is dumb.i would like to say i don't know the whole story of this situation so i can only say want i information is present to me.

Because we're getting tired of your "Help me noob, Im getting camped" bullsh'it.

I think you misunderstand, OP.

The problem isn't that people upgrade the trinket and don't use it, it's the fact they don't use it that's the problem. At least when they upgrade it, it's available, but the problem lies with them and not the upgrade.

I think a better title would have been "Not using your upgraded trinket makes it useless" and you could have advocated using it more instead of don't buy it if you aren't going to use it.

4 wards = 300 gold trinket upgrade = 250g

50g is useful. It also doesn't take up an inventory slot, so who is to say Ashe would have even placed those 4 without it?

I don't understand your point. All items are not useful if you don't use them. That doesn't mean you shouldn't upgrade the trinket.
